List of multiples of 2/3
[tex]\frac{2}{3}, \frac{4}{6}, \frac{6}{9}, \frac{8}{12}[/tex]

List of multiples of 3/4
[tex]\frac{3}{4}, \frac{6}{8}, \frac{9}{12}, \frac{12}{16}[/tex]

They have a common denominator at 12.

Compare 8/12  and 9/12.
9>8 ,  therefore 9/12 > 8/12  and  3/4 > 2/3
