A swimming pool fence was placed around a rectangular enclosure of length 12 m and width 8 m. A post was placed every 2 m. How many posts were needed?

P = 2(L + W)
P = 2(12 + 8)
P = 2(20)
P = 40.....so there is 40 meters of fence around the pool. If a post was placed every 2 meters, then u would have (40 / 2) = 20 posts <=
