Given f(x)=10x+8 and g(x)=1x+4 then what is (f+g)(3)) ?

f(x)=10x+8

g(x)=1x+4 = x+4

(f+g)(x) = f(x) + g(x) = 10x+8+x+4 = 11x + 12

(f+g)(3)= 11(3) + 12 = 33 + 12 = 45
