Equation 1)  8x + 2y = 13
Equation 2)  4x + y = 11

Multiply ALL of equation 2 by 2.

2)  2(4x + y = 11)

2)  8x + 2y = 22

1)  8x + 2y = 13

Subtract equations from one another.

0 = -9

So, there are NO SOLUTIONS.

Because there are no solutions, there is NO value for x or y

~Hope I helped!~
