The length of a rectangle is 16 cm less than quadruple the width. If the perimeter is 28 cm,
what is the length and the width?

Width = x cm
Length = 4x - 16

Perimeter = x + x + 4x -16 + 4x - 16
28 = 10x -32

(+ 32 to both sides)

60 = 10x

6 = x


Width = 6cm

Length = (6x4) - 16
= 8cm
