Answer: Glucose and oxygen are the reactants needed for cellular respiration. Glucose comes from food, and oxygen comes from the air we breathe. When this reaction occurs, energy, water, and carbon dioxide are produced. Energy is stored and used by the body to perform tasks, and carbon dioxide is breathed out, as we do not need it.
